(WASHINGTON) — Hurricane Henriette has formed in the Pacific, but those who dread the wicked winds and torrential downpours that come with hurricane season can rest easy for now, as the storm remains far from land.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center said the storm continues to strengthen and is moving northwest.
Hurricane season ends in both the Atlantic and Pacific on Nov. 30.
