(SAN FRANCISCO) — Commuters in the San Francisco area who rely on public transportation may be left stranded at stations come Monday morning.
Two unions representing Bay Area Rapid Transit workers issued a 72-hour strike notice on Thursday. If an agreement is not reached between the unions and San Francisco’s public transportation system within that time, workers will go on strike come Monday morning.
Both sides have been negotiating for the last 30 days but to no avail.
