(NOXEN, Pa.) — The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating a deadly helicopter crash in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Authorities say five people were killed when the chopper crashed in a wooded area of Noxen Township in Wyoming County.

County coroner Tom Kukuchka said three men, one woman and one child died in the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the aircraft was reported missing on Saturday during bad weather after it took off from Greater Binghamton Airport in New York, en route to Lehighton, Pa.  The wreckage was found early Sunday.
