When she guest-starred on Cougar Town back in 2010, Sheryl Crow played a wine saleswoman.  Now, she’s playing that part in real life.

Sheryl has announced a partnership with the California winery Chateau St. Jean [shah-TOE sahn zshon], which not only will promote her music, but also will raise money for some of her favorite charities.

As part of the 18-month promotion, fans will be able to get free downloads of Sheryl’s music from the winery’s website, and also check out the perfect wine pairings to go with recipes from her cookbook If It Makes You Healthy.

Chateau St. Jean is also donating a dollar from every bottle of wine sold to breast cancer charities during the month of October.   Sheryl, a breast cancer survivor, says in a statement, “I am thrilled to partner with a winery that wants to give back. This is a cause very close to my heart and to have the opportunity to team with a winery that shares my same passion is incredible.”
