(NEW YORK) — At least three people were injured Monday after a Southwest plane at New York’s LaGuardia Airport experienced complications while landing, according to the airport’s operations center.
The landing gear on Southwest Airlines flight 345, a Boeing 737 arriving at LaGuardia from Nashville, apparently collapsed upon landing. According to an FAA statement, the aircraft’s crew had “reported possible front landing gear issues before landing.”
While the condition of those who were injured is unknown, the remaining passengers were being deplaned via emergency chutes.
Airport officials have closed LaGuardia Airport for the time being, and the FAA says it is investigating the incident.
