(ST. LOUIS) — Four people are dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide inside a home health care business in St. Louis.

“The gentleman who killed the other three people inside the office appeared to have had an argument with the others and then at some point opened fire with a weapon,” said St. Louis Police Capt. Michael Sack.

Authorities have not yet identified the dead, so the shooter’s relationship to the victims remains unclear.

“There are 4 adult victims, 2 male and 2 female, confirmed dead at a scene of a shooting in the 2700 block of Cherokee,” the St. Louis Police Department posted on Twitter Thursday afternoon.

Authorities believe the victims were all employees of the home health care business where the shootings occurred.

The weapon, a semi-automatic handgun, was recovered at the scene.
