SANFORD–The inaugural Arts & Vine Festival ended Sunday afternoon under rainy skies and colder than normal temperatures for the month of May. The Friday night outdoor concert featured good entertainment, and the wine tent was a popular venue but the anticipated crowd wasn’t there. Saturday, opening day of the festival, proved to be quite successful. Organizers are already taking inventory in an effort to determine what can be done differently next year. All in all, they say they are pleased with the first event.
