Kenny Chesney‘s new album, Life on a Rock, isn’t his only new product hitting stores these days. He’s also launching his own Blue Chair Bay Rum in 30 states. Kenny didn’t just lend his name to the new liquor venture — he actually owns the rum brand and was involved in every step of developing the spirit.
“If I was going to do something like this, I wanted it to be something to be proud of, that we didn’t compromise on — and that I honestly want to drink,” Kenny tells Upstart Business Journal. “When someone pours a Blue Chair Bay Rum, they’re drinking something I’m having. To me, nothing less would do.”
