Jason Aldean‘s Night Train tour pulls in to the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium Saturday night, and there’s no doubt this concert will rank among the all-time biggest shows Jason has ever performed. He’s a diehard Georgia Bulldogs fan who grew up nearby in Macon, GA.
“It’s going to be a big night,” Jason says. “They may kick us out of Athens, GA before it’s over with.”
There’s no one else Jason would rather have on the bill with him at this concert than his fellow Georgia boy Luke Bryan, who is also a huge Bulldogs fan.
Jason explains, “When I found out we were gonna do that show, I mean, he was the first phone call I made. I’m like, ‘Alright, we’re playing. We got a show at Sanford Stadium. I want you on it.’ And he’s like, ‘Done.'”
Of course, Jason and Luke were both big winners at last Sunday’s ACM Awards, and they’ll still be riding on that high when they hit the stage in Athens.
Jason says, “Our chest is gonna be swelled up pretty good. So, I’m definitely excited about it.”
Jake Owen and newcomer Thomas Rhett are also on the bill for Saturday night’s show.
