A while back, Taylor Swift announced a partnership with Diet Coke — her favorite beverage — and now the singer has debuted her first commercial for the company.  It’s called “Music that Moves,” and it shows how a solo activity like songwriting has the power to touch people everywhere.

In the spot, Taylor is show composing her latest single, “22,” in a variety of places, scribbling out lyrics in her bedroom, while sitting at a soda counter swigging a Diet Coke, and backstage at a fashion shoot.  That’s intercut with footage of fans rocking out to the song in the car, while flipping burgers, during karaoke night, and even in what appears to be a storage room.  The spot ends with Taylor’s full version of the song kicking in, as she puts on her hat, grabs her guitar and heads out onstage, and the words “Stay Extraordinary” appear onscreen.

In an behind the scenes interview shot during the filming of the commercial, Taylor says that the ad is an accurate depiction of her songwriting process.

“I write on whatever I can find,” she explains. “I write wherever I am, whenever I get an idea, in the middle of the day, in the middle of the night and I like that the commercial just really showcased that.”
