Rascal Flatts is teaming up with Journey for a special one-night-only performance in Hershey, Pennsylvania this summer.

This isn’t the first time the two bands have joined forces. They met in 2012 when they collaborated on a version of “Don’t Stop Believin’” at the CMT Music Awards. Then, they reunited for a Super Bowl version of CMT Crossroads.

Both Gary LeVox and Journey’s Neal Schon agree those appearances left them wanting more.  “Our respect for them as musicians deepened through the television shows we did together,” Gary says. “That talk soon lead to wanting to do more.”

The Band Perry and Voice winner Cassadee Pope will open the August 1 show at Hersheypark Stadium. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
