Georgia native Travis Tritt is booked to sing the National Anthem before this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship game in Atlanta on April 8.
The sports-loving singer is no stranger to athletic events, having performed at two Super Bowls, the World Series and the Olympics. On May 3, he’s set to sing at the Barnstable Brown Gala at the Kentucky Derby for the 15th year in a row.
Travis is also busy working on a re-release of his 2007 album The Storm, complete with several new tracks, including a duet with his 15-year-old daughter Tyler Reese. The two plan to release both a single and video for their remake of the 1992 Patty Smyth/Don Henley pop hit “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough.”
