The Country Music Association honored some of Nashville’s top songwriters at their annual Songwriters Luncheon Tuesday in Nashville. The most prestigious honor given was the Triple Play Award, which goes to songwriters who’ve penned at least three #1 country hits in a 12 month period. A few famous faces walked away with that honor including Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Chris Young and Lady Antebellum‘s Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley.
Dierks, Brantley and Chris were on hand at the luncheon to receive their awards.
