Kenny Chesney is no stranger to gold and platinum album and single certifications, and now he’s earned a new batch of heavy metal to put on his walls. Kenny’s Greatest Hits II album has been certified platinum, and his single “Come Over” has also picked up a platinum certification for a million paid downloads.

Kenny’s older singles, “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems” and “The Good Stuff,” from his 2002 album No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems, have also gone gold, and Kenny is proud those songs continue connect with fans to this day.

“If people can see themselves in these songs… especially ones like ‘No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems’ and ‘The Good Stuff’… then I can feel good about it not just being a moment, but a truth,” Kenny says. “As a songwriter, that’s what you’re reaching for, and as a fan, it’s everything about what the songs that have marked my life meant to me.”

Kenny’s brand-new single, “Pirate Flag,” will go to radio on January 31.
