SANFORD–A donation of a generator from the Lowes that was destroyed by tornadoes in 2011, has made a wonderful asset to the city public works department.  The generator, valued at $100,000 was donated to the city.  Mayor Cornelia Olive said they couldn’t let an asset like that go to waste.
