Gary Allan‘s December 15 show at Joe’s Bar in Chicago raised a good chunk of change for a good cause. Proceeds from the show totaled $11,000 and will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music. That money will go to organizations using the power of music in their philanthropic efforts.

This isn’t Gary’s first time working with ACM Lifting Lives. He has previously volunteered with their summer music camp in Nashville, sharing music with campers who have developmental disabilities.
