Just when you thought there wasn’t a record Taylor Swift hadn’t already broken, her latest album Red makes another bit of history. The set is now in its sixth non-consecutive week at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.  Yahoo! Chart Watch reports that makes Taylor the first artist since The Beatles to log six weeks at #1 with three consecutive albums. Her 2008 release Fearless spent 11 weeks at the top, and 2010’s Speak Now was at the summit for six weeks.

The Beatles scored seven consecutive albums at #1 starting with Beatles ’65 in January 1965 and ending with Abbey Road in November 1969. The Kingston Trio and Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass also enjoyed six or more weeks at #1 with three or more albums, so this makes Taylor Swift the first woman ever to pull off that feat.
