Home / Music News / The Year in Review 2012: The Zac Brown Band Is Dreaming New Dreams for 2013

At the beginning of every year the members of the Zac Brown Band dream up a new bucket list of things they’d like to accomplish.  As you might imagine, there is nothing left to accomplish from the 2012 list thanks to their #1-selling album Uncaged and big gigs like their first time playing New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Lead singer Zac Brown tells ABC News Radio, “We’ve crossed a lot of the things off our bucket list, and it’s really time for us as a band to dream up some new things.”

A big item on the band’s 2013 list is doing more shows overseas.

Zac says, “I know we’re going to be going to Australia to do some touring there.  We’re gonna go back to the U.K.”

The group performed in London with Kings of Leon in 2011, and they were floored at the response from the crowd.

“It was amazing,” Zac explains. “I mean, the experience and seeing how avid the fans are there.  They’re like music-crazed animals.”

Zac Brown Band closes out 2012 with a New Year’s Eve concert in Detroit.
