Taylor Swift‘s Speak Now tour was a blockbuster, grossing more than 120 million bucks and playing to more than 1.6 million fans.  But with her upcoming Red tour, Taylor is aiming to surpass that…at least when it comes to fan satisfaction.

“I like for it to be big — as big as possible,” Taylor tells Billboard.  “If we can make a show that dazzles people more than the last tour, then I’ll have done my job in the right way.”

She explains, “I just want to be able, in this economy, to make a show that for fans is definitely a guarantee that they will be entertained enough to warrant them leaving their house, spending their evening with me, parking their car, waiting in line, maybe buy a T-shirt.  I want them to be so happy that they decided to spend their time with me — I think that’s my biggest objective.”

As far as what fans can expect from the tour, kicking off in March, Taylor says she wants the production to be “magical,” with “the element of surprise,” so she can “take people to a different world.”

Red‘s been so successful that one would assume that the tour will do as well as her last one, but Taylor tells Billboard that she doesn’t take any of her success for granted.

“I don’t naturally feel like I am entitled to win,” she says.  “If I put out a song, I don’t expect it to go number one [on iTunes] within hours….It’s not something that I’m ever going to get used to.”
