SANFORD–The largest number of bands, ever, will compete in the annual Brick Capital Band Classic Festival Saturday afternoon at Lee County High School.  Band Director Mike Wilkins said 20 bands are from schools all over the state and two bands, one new one, are from Virginia.  He is anticipating a large crowd of spectators.  Lee County will not compete but will present an exibition at 8:45 pm.  Admission is $5.00.  Friday night, hundreds are expected to fill the bleachers at Paul Gay Stadium when the Jackets host the playoff  against Terry Sanford of Fayetteville. Game time…7:30 pm.
