Jason Aldean will play three stadium shows on his 2013 Night Train tour, and he made the announcement in a big way Thursday. He started the day off in Boston announce he would be the first country artist to headline a show there on July 13.
Jason says, “It takes a lot to make me nervous, but walking out of the dugout at Fenway this morning to announce our show there definitely did it.”
Jason then flew to Chicago for a press conference at Wrigley Field to announce he would headline a show there on July 20. He ended the day with a surprise performance at the University of Georgia to announce he would perform at the school’s Sanford Stadium on April 13.
“It’s a day that I’m never going to forget,” Jason says.
Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett are on the bill for all three stadium shows. Miranda Lambert joins Jason for the Boston date while Miranda Lambert takes the opening slot in Chicago. Jason’s fellow Georgia boy Luke Bryan will join him for the show at the University of Georgia.
