Lady Antebellum held a special screening of their new Own the Night World Tour concert film in Nashville Thursday night. It will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download on December 4. Before the screening started, band member Hillary Scott explained why they wanted to preserve this tour on film.

She says, “This was our first-ever headlining arena and amphitheater tour, and so we put so much heart and effort and time into it. So, to have it as a complete work now is just, it’s an amazing feeling.”

Hillary added that she and her band mates Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley were a little out of their comfort zones watching themselves on the big screen.

The film also includes a ton of backstage footage, and that wasn’t hard to come up with at all for the group.

Charles says, “We carry a camera around with us everywhere, and so there’s so much footage. We said we can’t do one of these and not put in a bunch of behind the scenes footage.

The 90-minute Own the Night World Tour concert film features the bulk of Lady A’s concert in Little Rock, AR last June too.
