After a few highly publicized setbacks this year, it looks like Randy Travis is back to making music. He’s teaming up with folk artists The Avett Brothers for a new installment of CMT Crossroads premiering Friday, November 23 at 11 p.m. ET. The two acts will trade vocals on each other’s songs during the hour-long show.

Travis has been arrested twice this year on alcohol-related charges, including a bizarre incident in August when he was discovered lying naked in a street near Tioga, TX. His car was wrecked nearby and he was also cited for making felony threats against officers after the arrest. Travis was cited for simple assault a few weeks after that second arrest.
