Brantley Gilbert kicked off his first-ever headlining tour over the weekend playing for more than 14,000 fans in three cities. He set a new attendance record at his Friday night show in Poplar Bluff, MO, and entertained 5,000 fans in the rain Saturday night in Oklahoma City.
Brantley says of those Oklahoma fans, “Even in the downpour, I could hear them singing and saw their fists in the air. It was amazing!”
Brantley was involved in every aspect of his Hell on Wheels tour from the staging to the new merchandise on sale for fans. He says, “I told my team earlier this summer that I wanted us to think about every detail of the show to ensure the fans walked away with a unique experience.”
In addition this his own #1 hits “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” Brantley also threw in a cover of David Lee Murphy‘s ’90s hit “Dust on the Bottle” during his shows.
Brantley’s Hell on Wheels tour continues Thursday with a stop in Missoula, MT.
