(NEW YORK) — The NFL and the NFL Referees Association reached a deal to end the referee lockout, the league confirms, according to ESPN. The league and the referees’ union late Wednesday night agreed on a developmental program in compromise to the NFL’s demand to add 21 officials to the current 121 NFLRA officials, according to NFL.com.

A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the regular officials will return to the field Thursday night for a game between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.
