Little Big Town performs their #1 hit “Pontoon” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, and the four group members can’t wait to meet Ellen for the first time.  LBT’s Kimberly Schlapman says, “I’ve been a fan of hers since her TV sitcom.”

Band member Jimi Westrook thinks Ellen’s show has a “fun spirit” about it, and Phillip Sweet agrees saying, “It just looks like a party.  Her crowd, the studio audience, is having fun.  The mood should be awesome in there.”

The ladies of Little Big Town have more than just performing on their minds once they hit The Ellen DeGeneres Show soundstage.  It seems Oscar winner George Clooney‘s office is located on the same lot in Los Angeles, and Kimberly and band mate Karen Fairchild are dreaming of a run in with the heartthrob.

Karen starts off saying, “If we run into George Clooney in the parking lot,” and Kimberly finishes the sentence, “We will die!”

Little Big Town’s new album, Tornado, is now in stores featuring “Pontoon” as the lead single.
