SANFORD–Excitement is in the air with the announcement that Greenwood Elementary has gone to the Head of the Class. The official announcement will be made at 10 am Wednesday following a reception at the school. In addition to local education officials, many officials from throughout the state will be in attendance. The school will receive $50,000 and every employee–principals, teachers, suppport staff, cafeteria workers and custodians, will all receive a financial reward ranging from $200 to $1000.
