Miranda Lambert has developed a TV drama series based on her teen years that has just been purchased by NBC. According to Deadline.com, the show will draw from Miranda’s experience with her parents running a successful detective agency. Miranda’s mother Beverly Lambert will serve as a consultant on the new series.
The series was previously going to ABC Family last year with a different writer. Miranda’s husband Blake Shelton‘s gig on NBC’s The Voice reportedly helped relations between Miranda and the network.
No word on when Miranda’s series will start airing. It’s currently in the development stages.
