Home / Music News / Brad Paisley Gets Neil and Lance Armstrong Mixed Up on Twitter

It looks like Brad Paisley is scanning the news looking for material for his CMA Awards hosting gig coming up in November. Judging from a string of tweets he sent out Monday morning, Brad seems to be confused about all the men named Armstrong in the news lately, including cyclist Lance Armstrong, who has stopped fighting doping charges against him, and Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, who died over the weekend.

Brad’s first tweet said, “Did I just see on the news that Neil Armstrong got his Tour DeFrance titles stripped away?”

He added, “Also coincidentally, Louis Armstrong, the first Man on the Moon has passed.”

The confusion continued with the tweet, “Thank goodness will still have the music of Lance Armstrong. What a Wonderful World.”

Then again, it’s also possible Brad knew exactly what he was doing and was only having some fun.

Whatever the case, maybe Brad’s CMA Awards co-host Carrie Underwood can straighten him out on the differences between on all these Armstrong men. The 46th Annual CMA Awards broadcast live on ABC on November 1 at 8 p.m. ET.
