Loretta Lynn has revealed plans to collaborate with fellow Country Music Hall of Fame member Merle Haggard on a new project.

“He hasn’t lost one note of his voice,” Loretta tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  “I want to record a song with him that he wrote, ‘Today I Started Loving You Again.'”

Loretta adds that she’d love to work with Alan Jackson someday, saying, “I do love him.”

As for today’s country artists that she loves to listen to, Loretta name checks Carrie Underwood saying, “I think she is one of the best girl singers today.  She can sing anything.”

Loretta may be joining Carrie on the country airwaves soon.  Loretta admits she wants to have more hits on the radio.  She says, “No one says anything anymore [in songs].  They need me out there.”
