Little Big Town recorded their new album, Tornado, in just seven days.  Once they got all the songs lined up, they’d rehearse during the day and sing the songs live in the studio at night.  The environment in the recording studio was pretty loose during those sessions.

Band member Karen Fairchild tells CMA Close Up, “The boys have a shot of whiskey, we have a little glass of wine, and we’re off.  We worked at a fast pace because we were so excited.”

Little Big Town’s latest single, “Pontoon,” is racing up the country chart.  Tornado lands in stores September 11.
