SANFORD–Trustees of Central Carolina Community College approved by unanimous vote Wednesday, the operating budgets for the three counties-Lee, Harnett and Chatham, for the 2012-13 budget year.  Full requests were approved by commissioners in Chatham & Harnett counties, and fell short in Lee County. To make up the shortage in the Lee County budget, the board voted to use $15,000 from unbudgeted funds on hand.  In other business, the board said goodbye to Ed Garrison, whose two terms had ended, and welcomed Martha Underwood who was appointed by the Lee County Commissioners.  The oath was administered by Clerk of Court, Susie Thomas.  Julian Philpott was re elected board chair and Tracy Hanner was re elected Vice Chair.  The board approved an increase in Civic Center rental rates and will begin a study of a policy for non profits and county agencies.
