PITTSBORO–Attorney Wade Barber, a prominent Chatham County leader, recently told Chatham County commissioners that a prominent portion of the work on the historic courthouse may not be historically correct. According to the Chatham News, Barber said the clock tower portion on the north side of the building appears to jut out too far by approximately one foot. The  courthouse is being renovated following a damaging fire in 2010.
