SANFORD–A senior prank has resulted in 13 seniors from Southern Lee High School being barred from participation in Thursday night’s commencement at the school. According to Sharon Spence, Public Information Officer for Lee County Schools, the students caused damage at rival school, Lee Senior, May 29 after an initial prank planned at their school failed when law enforcement apprehended them at the scene. Many of the parents are upset and feel that the students should be allowed to march, however, school officials stand by the decision.
