Tim McGraw has launched the Homefront program with Chase and Operation Homefront to give mortgage-free homes to wounded U.S. soldiers at each stop on his tour this summer. To kick off the campaign, Tim will also perform a Memorial Day concert for service members this Monday at New York City’s Beacon Theatre, during Fleet Week.

“Being able to reward [veterans] for their dedicated work with a new home will be even more rewarding for us,” says Tim, who has several family members that have served in the armed forces. “It feels so good to give back to them, and to have the opportunity to entertain them on Memorial Day is something I’m honored to do.”

The Monday show will be streamed live at YouTube.com/CountryNow and broadcast to military bases on The Pentagon Channel. The Academy of Country Music’s charitable arm, ACM Lifting Lives, and The Premier Group representing the North Carolina Furniture Manufacturers have also made contributions to the Homefront program.

Tim kicks off his Brothers of the Sun tour with Kenny Chesney on June 2 in Tampa, FL.
