SILER CITY–Chatham Charter School announced recently, plans to expand into a k-12 school.  According to board president Kathy Wilson, as they’ve grown, so has the student base.  According to the Chatham News, In order to meet the expanding student base, the school plans to open ninth and tenth grades by the fall of 2013.  The following year, the school will open the eleventh grade.  By 2015, the school plans to be an entirely k-12 school.  The school is targeting 50 students per grade level.
