SANFORD–Good music for a good cause will be the weekend fare at the Lions Club Fairgrounds on Colon Road, with the second, annual Lights on Broadway sponsored Downsouth Music Festival. The festival, which gets underway Friday evening, will feature beach music, and Saturday’s festival will feature country music stars Parmalee, Chase Rice, Joe Nichols and others. Joe Nichols, star of Survival, is also famous for his hit, “Tequila makes her clothes fall off.” Tune in to the the WWGP Swap Shop Friday morning for an interview with Nichols. Proceeds from the concert will benefit CUOC, CARA and Family Promise. WFJA Beach music Legend, Johnny Miller, will be honored.
