Lady Antebellum hosts their Rebuilding Henryville event Wednesday benefiting the tornado-ravaged town of Henryville, IN.

The whole thing started when group member Hillary Scott had the idea to launch a high school contest with the grand prize winner getting Lady A to sing at their prom.  A lot of contest submissions came in from other schools on behalf of the students at Henryville High School in Indiana after their school was heavily damaged in a tornado earlier this year.

After hearing the story about Henryville, Lady A decided to throw them a makeup prom in nearby Louisville, KY.  On top of that, the group will perform at benefit concert for Henryville Wednesday night at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville.  They’ll also tour Henryville earlier in the day to see the rebuilding efforts first hand.

Hillary is really excited to see their prom contest grow into such a big event.  She says, “It all starts with a little bitty idea.  We just want to bring that community joy and hope and just do whatever we can to put smiles on their faces.”

Lady Antebellum and their tour sponsor Lipton are asking fans to help rebuild Henryville beyond Wednesday night’s show.  Visit RebuildingHenryville.com for details.
