SANFORD–Four complaints filed against current school board chairman, Shawn Williams were dismissed without cause by the board of elections during a public hearing Monday afternoon.  The complaints regarding sample ballots being handed out at the polls on election day were filed by four local republicans.  Williams is a democrat.  School board elections are non partisan.  Williams lost the election coming in sixth place in a field of eight candidates,  Board member Jonathan Silverman made the motion to dismiss the charges.  His motion was seconded by Shannon Gurwitch.
