It’s shaping up to be a big year for Kenny Rogers. He’s already announced plans to release a memoir, Luck or Something Like It, in October. Now Kenny has announced plans to release a new album this year too.
He’s signed a new record deal with Warner Bros. Records, which was the label that released his first hit with the group the First Edition, “Just Dropped In (to See What Condition My Condition Was in),” in 1967.
“I’m looking forward to returning home to Warner Bros. Records after all these years,” Kenny says of the new deal. “Our history together, combined with the incredible team that’s in place now, provides the catalyst for a great new relationship going forward.”
Kenny Rogers celebrated his 50th year in the entertainment business in 2008.
