Billy Currington is out on his first headlining tour, and he promises fans a really good time during his show. David Nail and Kip Moore are supporting him on the bill.
“We are going to bring a lot of happiness to your life,” Billy tells Atlantic City Weekly. “We’ll be playing the hits and we love to play some upbeat, fun cover songs. We’re not going to bring a bunch of sad, unhappy songs. You’ll have a good time.”
The tone of Billy’s next album will be a little more laid-back than his live shows. He’s in the studio now and plans to put the new album out in October.
Billy says, “It will be more of my laid back side. I am who I am so I can’t really conjure up anything different than I’ve done in the past.”
Billy’s tour continues May 12 with a show in St. Louis.
