“A crazy, crazy but great tour”– that’s how Brantley Gilbert describes his time out with Eric Church on his Blood, Sweat & Beers dates.
While he doesn’t say exactly what kind of craziness he’s referring to, Brantley does tell the Bellville News-Democrat he’s definitely enjoying it as much as the fans are.
“Getting out there and giving it your all for those folks who spent hard-earned money, is what I am supposed to do,” he says. “To give them the opportunity to forget about the stress of life for a couple of hours and have a good time. I want them to know that I am having a great time along with them, that’s for sure.”
While Brantley is mainly focused on his live shows, he does hint that he’s already thinking about his next recording.
“I can’t really talk about when to expect a new album or anything like that. It’s in the works, though,” he promises. “What we are concentrating on is getting out there and rockin’ with the people. I love to perform and to rock the audience. I feed off them, and they get me going.”
Brantley’s dates with Eric Church continue through the end of May, when he heads out on tour with Toby Keith.
In other Brantley news, his album, Halfway to Heaven, has been certified gold on the strenght of his hits “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”
