She joins pop acts Justin Bieber, The Wanted and LMFAO, who also share a Top Duo or Group nomination with Lady Antebellum in one of the all-genre categories.
American Idol winner Scotty McCreery finds himself up for Top New Artist, against the likes of “Pumped Up Kicks” hitmakers Foster the People. Taylor Swift also grabs a nod for Top Touring Artist.
Both Lady A and Jason Aldean are nominated in all three of the exclusively country categories, while Blake Shelton vies for both Top Country Artist and Top Country Song. Luke Bryan is in the running for both song and Top Country Album. You can check out the complete list of nominees at Billboard.com.
The 2012 Billboard Music Awards air live on ABC on Sunday, May 20 from the MGM Garden Arena, with more performers and presenters to be announced in the coming weeks.
