Dierks Bentley got a star-studded welcome to Tinseltown as he kicked off the spring run of his Country & Cold Cans tour Friday in Los Angeles.
After Eli Young Band and Will Hoge warmed up the sell-out crowd at the Nokia Theatre, Foo Fighters’ lead guitarist Chris Shiflett joined Dierks onstage. The two followed the Fighters hit “Big Me” with a cover of the Gram Parsons classic “Sin City.” Friday Night Lights actor Garret Hudlund played “Hard Out Here” from Country Strong as part of the encore.
Dierks wrapped up the evening with an after-party that included actress Kirsten Dunst, Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet, and rockers Foster the People.
