With his hit single “Somethin’ Bout a Truck” approaching gold status, newcomer Kip Moore thinks fans are ready for his debut album, Up All Night.
Kip believes if they discover a plain-spoken, simple record, they’ll be with him for the long haul. “I feel like it’s a very honest, honest record,” he says. “It’s not all ‘songwritery’ where it’s said all kind of crazy ways. I wanted to speak the record like you would in conversations…how you would really say it to somebody.”
The Georgia native also hopes that his songwriting taps into the same sort of emotions as the classics written by his heroes Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger and Jackson Browne. Kip explains, “That’s the main thing…I want to make people really emotionally connect to this record, which in turn will create a loyal fanbase, I think.”
Up All Night will be out April 24.
