CHAPEL HILL–Chatham County deputies arrested a Chapel Hill man after obtaining evidence that he has been involved in numerous local crimes. On March 22, Allen Jenks of 740 New Salem, Church road, Pittsboro, reported numerous personal items missing. Detective Todd Zogopoulos was assigned to the case and discovered that William Tucker, 27, of 1209 Tally Ho Trail, Chapel Hill, was involved. Tucker was arrested for those crimes as well as charges related to domestic violence. He has been charged with felonious breaking or entering a motor vehicle, felonious possession of stolen property, trespassing, felonious larceny after breaking and entering, injury to personal property and violation of a protective order. He is being held on a $30,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham District Court in Pittsboro on April 25.
