SANFORD–Two Sanford residents are in jail on a $50,000 bond, each, on drug charges, after a search warrant was executed at their residence on Temple Avenue Thursday. During the search, agents seized 485 grams of marijuana, and a stolen tv. The marijuana had a street level value of $4,850. The tv was reported stolen from a house in the Lee County area. Kenneth Cecil Currie, Jr., 30, of 220 Temple Avenue and Britney Monique Johnson, 25, of 202 Temple Avenue, were charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep drugs, possession with intent to sell drugs within 1000 feet of a park, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation is continuing on the tv case, which was turned over to the sheriff’s department.
