SANFORD–Agents with the Lee County Sheriff’s office arrested four persons on drug offenses. Joshua Van Harris, 38, of North Horner Boulevard was charged with possession with intent to sell a schedule IV controlled substance (Alprazolam), maintaining a vehicle to store drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy, after a surveillance operation by drug agents. Also charged in the operation were Frances Kay Beach, 62 of Lillington, and Lori Ann McGee, 37, also of Lillington. They were charged with possession with intent to sell a schedule IV controlled substance, conspiracy, and maintaining a vehicle to store drugs, and McGee was also charged with sell & delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy. A fourth suspect, Mary Darlene Mangum, 46, of Cameron, was charged with simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Harris, Beach and McGee were placed in the Lee County Jail under $500 secured bond each. Mangum was also jailed on a $500 secured bond. As a result of the operation, agents seized a small amount of marijuana, 20 dosage units of alprazalam and 28 dosage units of percocet.
