SANFORD–The Charlotte Motor Speedway will be the scene of a gigantic celebration Saturday—a celebration long overdue.  The state’s Vietnam veterans will finally receive the recognition they so richly deserve and many of those in attendance will be from Lee and other counties in the Cape Fear Region.  The Enrichment Center is sponsoring a bus that will be filled with 48 veterans leaving town at 7:30 AM.  An anonymous donor paid the $30 transportation fee for each veteran and other organizations are paying for other expenses.  We talked with James Israel, a Vietnam Vet from Chatham County.  Listen Friday for his remarks.
