As they say in The Hunger Games, the odds are ever in Taylor Swift‘s favor. She recorded two songs for The Hunger Games’ soundtrack, and that album has just debuted at #1; the movie, of course, is shattering box office records left and right. Now, she’s received a special gift thanking her for her participation in the project.
On Tuesday, Taylor tweeted, “This just came in the mail,” and included a link to a photo of the first page of a copy of The Hunger Games, autographed by author Suzanne Collins. “For Taylor, with much thanks for your beautiful songs,” reads the inscription. “Let the Games begin! Love, Suzanne Collins.”
This weekend, good things continue to happen for Taylor, as she receives a special award from Michelle Obama at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, and then appears Sunday at the Academy of Country Music Awards, where she’s likely to take home some hardware.
